Engage with Elder

Principal Ms. Robin Elder, invite parents, community members and stakeholders to engage in conversation that promotes a stronger connection Idlewood Elementary School and the community. By building a stronger connection between Idlewood Elementary School and  our parents, community members and stakehold we are able to build a strong foundation that focus on student achievement and success. 

The next, Engage with Elder will be held on September 27, 2019.

Idlewood is CEP school for 2019-2020 School Year
 Effective for the 2019-2020 school year, Idlewood Elementary School has been selected to participate in the DCSD Nutritution Services CEP Program.  All students are eligible to receive breakfast, lunch and after school snacks at no cost.  Click here to visit DCSD School Nutrition website.

School Day
Idlewood School Day Schedule:
Breakfast is served from 7:00 am -7:30 am.
Students are to be at school by 7:40 am.
The school day begins at 7:45 am and  ends at 2:15 pm. 
 
 
Dress Code
Students are expected to wear their uniform everyday.
