Free Summer Meals for Students
Summer Break is in full swing, and once again, the DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is providing free summer meals to students. Better known across the district as the Seamless Summer Option Program, all children aged 18 and younger can get nutritious breakfast and lunch meals at no cost to parents or guardians now through July 22, 2022.
The meals are available at any of the 70 district schools hosting summer school classes. Families are strongly encouraged to contact any summer school site for specific mealtimes and days of operation. A complete listing of sites and other important information about the Seamless Summer Option Program is located at www.dekalbschoolsga.org/school-nutrition/ or by calling the DCSD Nutrition Office at (678) 676-1786.

Introducing Edulog Parent Portal

DeKalb County School District announces the launch of the Edulog Parent Portal smartphone app. The app is designed to give parents and guardians information about their child’s school bus ride. The app allows parents and guardians to follow their child’s bus on a real-time map and stay up-to-date with notifications when that bus nears the bus stop, the school, or a custom alert zone. Parents and guardians only receive access by registering with data unique to their child.
